Von Raven was started by metalveterans Arild Pedersen and Harald Kanestrøm. Over a couple of years the band has developed a style which is caracterized by heavy riffs, groovy rhythm and powerful melodies. The sound is a further step from melodic death metal in which the band has its origin. Von Raven comes about with a new and fresh sound to the norwegian metal scene. The band have established a main base in Oslo- Norway. Von Raven have previously released the singles “Pathfinder” and “Here comes pain”. The singles evoked responses that were unprecedented positive – leaving the band with deals from big corporations such as Warner Bros TV&Film USA!
